12 Junior Club members fished round 3 which was held on North Wall at Lyme Regis.

This competition was for Heaviest Bag and the winner was Ryan Male with a total weight of 1,140gms. In second place was Casey Richards with a total weight of 650gms and third was Josh Westwood with 454gms.

What was pleasing was that the combined weight of all the fish caught by the 12 anglers was 3,507gms. All the fish (Blennies) were returned safely to the sea.

Interestingly one angler caught a Blenny that was only one gram outside the Junior

record that was set by Rollo Squire last year.

After 3 matches so far this year Ryan Male has a very healthy lead having come first in all three matches so far this year and has 15 points. In second place we have Casey Richards on 9 points, followed by Jack and Ava Saxby in joint third position on 7 points.

In the Species League Ryan is in first position on 3 species closely followed by Casey Richards, Tori Ward, Jack and Ava Saxby in second place with two species.

The next Junior Match is on Sunday 12th July at Lyme Regis and is for the Heaviest Fish
