The Bass Boat match to be held on Sunday 7th August is for BEST BASS.
Under our current rules Bass can be weighed in a sling before returning to the water or measured from the snout to the tip of the tailfin. This measurement (in cms.) is then put against the agreed measurement table to obtain the calculated weight for the bass.
For this Best Bass match we will be using the measurement tables ONLY for uniformity and fairness of accessing the catch. Bass will not be weighed on scales for this competition. Therefore Bass will be measured and agreed by the skipper of each boat. If the skipper catches a fish he must get the size witnessed by another witness on the boat.
Only one bass measurement per angler to be submitted.
Hopefully this clarifies the rules for the day.
