New Boat Record Undulate Ray
Lewis Hodder pictured with his new club boat record Undulate Ray that he caught in late September on his boat Pegasus.
The fish weighed in at 8,110gms (17lbs 14ozs) and gave Lewis a specimen percentage of 127.72%.
This fish will give Lewis a silver award in the AT Specimen Award scheme.
The fish was returned safely to the sea.
First of the Couches Bream
You'll see a lot of pictures coming on the website now of a new species to our fishing grounds.
The Couches Bream has started appearing on the brittle star beds and is often found intermingling with the more common Black Bream.
To date in the month of September eight have been caught. this is a picture of the first one that appeared on Lewis Hodder's boat Pegasus.
Current weights are up to a pound plus although the British record is Boat 9lbs 5ozs and Shore 3lbs 4ozs - Both caught from the Guernsey area.
