Wednesday’s match was changed from Best Mullet to Best Two Specimen (Two different species) due to weather and shortened days.
Eleven members signed in for the match which was a “Rover”. Six people brought two species to the scales.
First was Simon Lippet with a dogfish of 50.44% which was added to a very nice Grey Mullet (Thick lipped) of 1,993gms (4lbs 6ozs) -(103.37%). This gave Simon a final score of 153.81%.
Second was Darren Herbert with a dogfish of 56.61% which was added to a Thick-lipped Grey Mullet of 75.77% . This gave Darren a total of 132.38%.
Third was Ben Male with a Dogfish of 75.92% added to a Pouting of 43.90% giving him a total of 119.82%.
Wayne Burgess had a nice dogfish of 885gms but had nothing to weigh with it.
Next Wednesday match is the 28th October at Lyme Regis.- Best Bass.
