On Sunday 8th March the Boat Pollack competition took place in what could be best described as testing conditions!!

Twenty five anglers travelled out to various wrecks on Amaretto 1V, Alice Rose and Pegasus and fourteen out of the twenty five anglers caught Pollack. As well as Pollack, Pouting, Whiting and one Cod was caught.

First place went to Roy Shipway with a 15lb 1oz fish on Alice Rose. Second was Brian Moss with a Pollack of 13lbs 12ozs also on Alice Rose. Third was Richard Dugdale on Amaretto 1V with a fish of 13lbs 3ozs.
