Fourteen members fished the first Wednesday Shore Competition at Seaton, the quarry being Best Single Specimen.

Eleven of the fourteen caught fish, the winner being new member Dan Ward with a Dogfish of 982gms. which came in at 86.60% and sets him up quite nicely for the Best New Members Specimen Cup to be awarded at the end of the season. Dan also weighed in a Cod of 1,582gms.
